Unfortunately, because of that the Active Map isn't available to you. But here's a little secret to ease your pain: the Active Map is just a gimmicky interface to the E-Tour. That's right... if you go take the E-Tour, you'll have seen pretty much everything that you could see in the Active Map.
If you wish, you should be able to safely utilize the immobile client-side imagemap. There are also two different large versions of Byway maps suitable for printing.
